Cultural Programs

At various times students are invited to attend cultural programs that support, in particular, our language learning curriculum. Every second year students visit Indonesia as part of our LOTE program. In a number of subjects, links with Asian culture have been established. Beechworth Secondary College is a well-recognised 'Access Asia School' in a national program.

A number of visiting performers visit our school each year. These performances cover many subject areas and provide experiences to our students that are not normally available to them.

We also organise trips to see theatre productions and art exhibitions regionally and in Melbourne.

We often host international teachers and we also encourage our students to take part in student exchange programs and regularly have exchange students visit our school for periods of just a few weeks to a whole year.
